My name is Vanessa Lopez. I am currently a senior at Foshay Learning Center, but I attended my first three years of high school at Manual Arts High School. I am a part of the Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI) program which is a six year program that helps low income students get into college. My job, at Peace Over Violence, consists of using theater as a way to advocate peace and prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. I am also a part of the NAI Theater Workshop and Students Run Los Angeles, and I have participated in Water polo, Academic Decathlon, Cosmetology, and Photography.
